Started my day off every day last week with a cup of coffee and a pear. Last pear eaten today! 

#46 From Where I Stand... On This Side of the Fence

I have a neighbor who breeds and trains border collies. They are surprisingly quiet and love to run along the fence to say hi whenever I pass by. On another note, today was Family Day in Ontario and, because I did a favour for my ex-husband, I ended up loosing Family day with my kids. Not a good day at all here, spent all day thinking about my babies and missing them like mad.

#45 Spot

Yesterday was boardgame party night! Everyone spends their Valentines killing Cthulhu right?! I am taking creative license and counting my sanity, stamina and ability sliders as "spots" :-D

#44 Love

Today is Valentines day, but it is also my Honey Bunny Bears birthday! Happy 20th birthday Onyx!!!! He is immortal so I am not sure if he is still counting his birthdays...

#43 Temptation

Temptation to stay in bed all day long. Luckily I have a Firefly marathon to host so motivation! Yeah!

#42 Pointy

Today is my day to head to Erin's and as we all sit around, you can hear the light scrape and drag of knitting needles from Lydia and I. I am so thankful that Lydia has taught me how to knit!

#41 On The Wall

Spent the day at the Biggs's hanging out and watching some B5 and after much thought, Erin recommended that I take a pic of a wall at the graffiti park across the street. I really love that there is a space for this downtown where street artists are encouraged and celebrated. Awesome work!

#40 Inspires Me

Today was a crummy emotional day but I got to head over to the Chan's who helped immensely. Today my inspiration is Burrito Alicia, who perseveres even when things get her down. You go girl!

#39 Energy

For some reason when I heard that todays photo prompt was Energy, my immediate thought was taking a pic through a clear glass light bulb of the sun. Worked out pretty well - I really like the sunlight streaming out in all directions.

#38 In My Bag

In my DICE bag! Yesterday I officially ran my very first D&D campaign! It was also my kids and Lydia and Ellies first time playing! Alicia very graciously attended and helped Rowan with all the particulars with her character. And she kicked butt with her sorcerer! Dorian was a little more focused on loot than beating up the baddies but he did great too. Off screen is Nathaniel who hates pics but very generously helped me with my first time DMing. Thank you to everyone for showing up!!!!

#36 Makes Me Smile

On the weekends my little man crawls into bed with me when he wakes up for what he affectionately calls "Cuddle Time". I think it is awesome that I am raising him to be a cuddler! Here we are being fierce!

#35 Something Blue

When the prompt of the day was Something Blue, no one is surprised that I chose Doctor Who! These are pictures that my bestie painted for me and they rest on my dresser so I can look at them every day!

The other thing that came to mind was a Doctor Who poem I read a while ago; I totally did not write this, but it is so good!

Rose went away

Sarah Jane, and Martha, and now both the Ponds 

had their fun with the Doctor and now they’ve all gone.

#34 Water

Took the kids to Winterlude this week and we had a BLAST! We toured all the ice sculptures, ate maple candy on a stick, saw some men doing actual ice carvings, ate some beavertails, skated on the canal (huge thank you to Nicole for lending me her skates!!!), had dinner downtown and then bummed around Chapters for a while. Rowan was asleep before the bus even pulled away from the stop ;-)

#33 Mail

My friend Leah is really into scrapbooking and she sends me really cool cards all the time. It has been a while since I got one, but last week, all of these three, plus the very fun package they are sitting on, arrived! She is so creative, I am jealous!

I bought these on a whim today when I thought of the kids coming home tonight! Can't wait for them to get a load of these bright yellow starfruits! Also, shout out to price matching!!!!
